Ever since I was a little girl I only wanted to be one of three things: a mermaid, a teacher, and a writer. Teaching and writing has been my passion for many years, but I never thought they would actually become a reality for me. I tried and failed at both many times thinking I was never good enough or capable. That excuse cast my dreams aside for two years until one day I decided that I had enough of this self-doubt attitude. I pulled my big girl panties on and set to the grinding wheel of college courses and writing opportunities.

It has been two years since I decided to chase my dreams of being a teacher/author and I don't look back on my decision plagued with guilt. I fulfilled my dream as an author when I published my first book The Price of a Soul in August of 2020. I continue to pursue my dream of being an English teacher with the light slowly seeping in at the end of the tunnel.
